LOL, some might say that.

I actually think there are a lot of people who claim to follow the rhythm method, but in the heat of the moment, get a little lax in their interpretations of their cervical mucus.

Best forms of birth control, the V or the Tubes tying. Never a doubt.

We've lost track of the original topic here, but I think the best is easily the IUD. Non-surgical, inexpensive, safe, and effective.

So says the man who has never actually had an IUD.

Right, and for some reason I think the IUD gets through to people on the spectrum of why it also destroys the embryo, whereas that is potentially the same problem/criticism that applies here to the pill. Then again, maybe it doesn't. I remember a heated thread about the morning after pill a while back where people didn't get the it's similar to the widely-accepted IUD. shrug.

Family practice, you say? I guess it would boost his baby deliveries, since he would presumably loose patients who didn't agree with his moral stand. (I do remember an ob/gyn once (jokingly?) encouraging me to have lots of babies to keep him in business).

My limited understanding of the IUD is that it supposedly prevents the sperm from even making any where close to where the egg is. The one with hormones should also prevent ovulation as well.

I don't think so. IUD typically dislodges (or prevents attachment) of fertilized ovum to the wall. Doctors, correct if wrong.
