It looks as if the critics were correct about Jimmer not fitting in, despite my hopes for the contrary. I thought he'd learn to play defense, still be able to get his shot off and be able to contribute.

Instead, he's a terrible defender, can't drive the lane, and is inconsistent with his shot. I don't see him, absent significant improvement, staying in the league for long. He'll be Europe bound and then return to BYU before he's thirty. Truly sad, but his likely route.

I think you are being too hard on Jimmer.

He is playing on a very bad team. The starting point guard and shooting guard are completely selfish players (Tyreke and Thornton). It would be hard for anyone to do well on this team.

Jimmer has done best playing the 2 with Isaiah Thomas at the point. Thomas actually drives and dishes and sees the floor.

His defense is passable. I think he will find a place in the league, it's just doubtful that Sacramento is that place.

Wouldn't I love Jimmer and Jeremy on the same team. Talk about a wet dream.

Agreed. Maybe someday he'll be put with a better team, and hopefully before it's too late.

Alex Smith probably needed more time. To mature. And to actually unlearn all the bad habits he got from the same guy who coached Tebow.
