SeattleUte has a little shameless behaviour in the past
Default Dak vs. Romo

I'm only posting this because I know Waters is especially interested in the Cowboys (I'm not), including particularly Dak vs. Romo. I heard Doug Gottlieb today make a compelling argument for trading Dak and keeping Romo. He said that the Cowboys are perfectly balanced and constructed on offense, such that maybe Dak really isn't a virtuoso. Maybe any quarterback who could fog a mirror could replicate this season with the balance of that offense. The thing the Cowboys need to improve is defense. They need a physical, dominant defense. If, say, the Browns would give you the moon--their two first round draft choices and even more for Dak--maybe do it and work on the defense. This would make sense if Romo really is fully recovered, as the Cowboys alleged, and he could give you two more good years. If the Cowboys won one Superbowl, it would be worth it. Also, we know that a healthy Romo is a world class quarterback, but Dak is not yet established in that class. Gottleib says the simple and maybe stupid thing to do is to unload the expensive old guy. But maybe there's a more cunning way.

MikeWaters is an unknown quantity at this point

Dak had a great year. But not many quarterbacks spend their first year on a Super Bowl-caliber offense. Most start with a really poor supporting cast.

It's very hard to predict how good Dak will be. It could be that Dak never has a better year than this past one. And I bet had Dak been on the Browns, he would have looked fairly mediocre.

One thing you can count on is for Jerry to do the dumbest thing possible.
