SeattleUte has a little shameless behaviour in the past
Default Why the NCAA basketball playoffs so far surpass "bowl season"

Ever seen the last scene of Hamburger Hill? In the NCAA playoffs, it's somewhat like that. Mano a mano. Maximus in the gladiatorial ring. There's no tomorrow. What great entertainment! Every game is game seven. Every last DI team has a chance at the gold ring; every big name school lives the potential nightmare of upset. Every school will eventually have to PROVE it's worth. Everyone experienes the catharsis of a fair shot. Nobody ends the season feeling cheated or deprived.

Coaches like BM who are content to arrange pasty schedules and hide out at the Las Vegas bowl need not apply. The football bowl season and the NCAA basketball season don't compare; the NCAA playoffs are a much greater event.
