Default Plaisted can play D

NBA impressed with Plaisted's D, especially defending pick and roll--attributed to Coach Rose. Take that, Funk.

If you'd care post a source that isn't out of BYU that says the same thing, it would be a lot more credible.

and even then that could only be a crackpot, right? I don't think Plaisted's defense was stellar, but he wasn't Araujo either. Araujo's D was laughably bad. Plaisted was serviceable on defense in the college game. I don't think he'll have much if any of an NBA career, but he will do well in Europe, IMO.

The source was an NBA coach.

I agree that he can guard white centers in Europe.

I think Plaisted would have a very nice career should he play in Europe. Whatever he decides, I wish him well.

I hope he doesn't end up in the Netherlands.

For obvious reasons.

Reasons other than his fear of tulips and wooden shoes?

I just watched the Mavericks-Pistons summer league game a few minutes ago. Plaisted did a good job with defending the pick and roll, but didn't do much else.
