Way to go Golden State!
Beat Dallas
It was been way too long since they have been in the post season. Don Nelson deserves major props for the team's success this year. |

I for one am very confused that you can make the playoffs with a corpse on the sidelines coaching the team. I would love to see G-State beat Dallas, but it isn't happening.

a corpse?
that's harsh.
anyone who gets a team back in the playoffs after a 13-year absence has my respect. the warriors do have their work cut out for them but i think they will give dallas a good series |

Dallas in 5.
Playoff basketball is nothing like the regular season and if you can't operate effectively in a half court scenario, plus play stellar defense, then you're done. That's why a team like the Suns, although fun to watch, will never win an NBA Title with their style of ball.

I love Nellieball. I love Nellie. I can't wait to see this series. But, like Rocky I believe that it will be a five game series. However, I don't think that the problem will be executing in the half court, I think it will be difficulty in stopping the Mavs that ultimately will cause the demise of the Warriors. But the games should be delicious.

Wow. the Warriors got it done in game one. Baron Davis is really an underappreciated superstar. And the Mavs are going to have to work harder than any one seed has a right to have to.

I haven't seen GS play since the Chris Mullin days. I remember being impressed with Baron when he played for the Hornets (?). Of course it has been forever since I last saw him play.

I remember the ugly incident in the Salt Palace in the playoffs between the Warriors and Jazz back in about '85 or '86. Karl Malone and George Karl going after each other; Golden State bench surrounding Karl Malone; and fans trying to go after the Warriors players. I miss those days of Utah Jazz basketball when they played the true Jerry Sloan "beat the crap out of the opponent and not worry about any repercussions" style of ball.
