Default Steve Nash's salary

He's only making $10 million this year.

The weird part is that Dallas let him go to Phoenix because they didn't think he was worth the money that Phoenix was paying him.

Crazy.

Steve Nash had a great final year or two with Dallas...but I had to agree with the Mavs at the time...Nash was going to be making too much money for what was expected of him due to his age and injury concerns.

No doubt, if Cuban could go back in time, he would have signed him for that...but several years ago, most teams thought that the length of the contract would be prohibitive to a teams future.

Nash is one of the few players in the league that has seemed to have gotten better with older age.

Cuban was an idiot for letting him go. If Nash is with Dallas last year during their Finals run...they'd be defending their title this season....and likely not being knocked out in the 1st round by an 8th seed.
