You think so? I think funerals in the main are much more interesting, have better music and more filled with the spirit and authentic emotion. I listend to a one hour telephone seminar on new devopements on medicare and medicaid law as they effect wills and trusts last year. That was the most boring hour of my life. Other than that, sacrament meeting is about as boring as it gets. I miss the ward I grew up in for all the crazy (truly) people in it. At least that made testimony meeting interesting.

I like the topic of Medicare/Medicaid and trusts, so hold on there buddy, calling that boring. I've never slept through one of those, but have slept through many a sacrament meeting.

I was referring the somber mood.

Speaking funerals, if I had to pick a least favorite LDS hymn, it would have to be the funeral-favorite "Oh My Father". I told my wife that if that hymn is sung at my funeral I will give her an evil haunting that would put Hollywood to shame. Anyone else dislike that hymn?

It's okay.

I like that one they play with the Scottish bagpipes as the piper disappears into the mist. That one is much better IMHO.

You ARE weird. No, it was just boring because that is not an area I practice in but I needed the CLE hour. The two guys I work with who do that ordered Pizza and we all sat in a conference room and listened (phone seminar). They were interested, I had little idea what was being taught. Come to think of it, maybe that is the problem I have with sacrament meeting in my current ward.

Now that would be an improvement. I bet if you passed it around the whole congregation would get fed and there would still be slices left over.

If pizza is delivered to sacrament, I'd be awake.
