Advice from Tupac
Here is some advice that I would like to give to any kids of mine from Tupac.
From the song "Wonder Why They Call U Bitch" "Keep your head up, legs closed eyes open, Either a brother wear a rubber or he die smokin' I'm hearin rumors so you need to switch And that's why they call you bitch, I betcha" |

Keep your mind on your money, enroll in school, and as the years pass by you can show them fools.
Ahh Tupac, my single favorite artist of all time. My top three Tupac songs: 1. Toss It Up 2. California Love 3. How Do You Want It? Last edited by Colly Wolly; 06-17-2006 at 12:28 AM. |

How can one not love Tupac? I'm not sure that that advice is words that I'd live by exactly, but still a cool song.
I'm not a huge fan of "How Do U Want It" or "Toss It Up" but a lot of his stuff is just awesome. "I Ain't Mad At Ya" is classic, "Hit Em Up" is one of my favorite songs to listen to when I'm pissed off (and was also the song that probably got him killed). "California Love" is a classic track. "All Eyez on Me" is probably one of my favorite albums. It also has "Shorty Wanna Be A Thug" which is a fun song. Seriously, it makes me wonder how many more songs Pac could have put out. He was amazing and just has a way of telling a story through his lyrics. Best MC ever. |

All Eyez On Me and the Makaveli album are my favorites. Bomb First on Makaveli has one of the greatest rap quotes ever: "I aint a killer, but dont push me. Revenge is like the sweetest joy next to gettin pussy."
Classic. |

Doesn't that come from "Hail Mary"? I know that's part of Hail Mary, I don't know if it's part of Bomb First as well, but it's definitely part of Hail Mary. Classic song.
Eminem re-did that song as a diss at Ja Rule after he claimed that if Pac were still alive he would have rode with Ja Rule. It pissed Eminem off and he started the song off like this: You ain't no killa, you a pussy That exstacy dun' got you all emotional and moushy Bitches wearin rags in photos, Ja's words bein quoted In the SOURCE, stealin 'Pac's shit like he just wrote it Not bad, one of the best rap diss I've ever heard. And the courus goes like this: Come get me Motherf****r, If you want Shady If Pac was still here now, He would never ride with Ja Na, na, na, na ,na, na, na, na I like to think it's true as well, Pac wouldn't be caught dead with Ja Rule. Here is the link to the lyrics: http://www.lyrics007.com/Eminem%20Ly...%20Lyrics.html And if you want a copy of the song, boardmail me and, uh, I can tell you where to find it... or e-mail it to you, either way. |

Tupac in that basketball movie (for the life of me, I can't remember the name of that flick) was actually pretty good at acting. He was solid with his lines and his persona just gives out that vibe, 'at any moment I could kick your ass.'

"Above the Rim" was the name of it.
He also played a villian in the movie "Juice" where his characters name was Bishop. He knocked that role dead as well. Pac was VERY talented. He went to school with Jada Pinkett (now Smith) at some special productions type school. If you get the chance to watch the documentary about 2Pac, I believe it was called Resurrection, do it. It's amazing how talented and sharp the guy was for being a "Thug". |

Tupac was in seven films, and guest starred in three television shows: http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0000637/
Dude was no more a thug than Vanilla Ice. 'Twas all an image created to sell records. |

If it was all an image, he pulled it off well. The guy was shot to death after all.
Pac was the greatest MC ever.
