Default 2007 The Year of the Comeback

Is every single group known to man getting back together this year?

David Lee Roth and Van Halen back together
Sting and the Police back together
Phil Collins and Genesis back together
Bone Thugs and Harmony back together

Whose next? I wonder if Natalie Merchant and the 10000 Maniacs can work things out, or Gloria Estefan and the Miami Sound Machine.

I'm rooting for Kool and the Gang.

Hey, if Simon and Garfunkel can pretend to like each other long enough to make a few bucks, anybody can!

Personally, I'm hoping for Chicago.

Zach de la Rocha and Rage Against the Machine are getting back together to oppose the right-wing purgatory the United States has become under the George W. Bush administration.

Thank goodness. I wonder what took them so long.

Don't forget the Who getting back together. I am not sure how to feel about this since they are/were my favorite band, but two old geezers together, is that the same thing? I'll have to reserve judgment on that.

Frank Black and Kim Deal. I'd love a Pixies reunion.

This is easy. The Man has had His foot on their necks and it wasn't until the dems retook congress that they could slip out from underneath im.

This is more complex. Keep us posted on whether Keith Moon and John Entwisle have decided to come along.

Bauhaus got back together a couple of years together, so I suppose they get credit/blame for the current trend.

Reunions I'd like to see:

Split Enz
Oingo Boingo

Reunions the world needs:

The Monkees

They did? Where have I been? Oh yeah, changing diapers, wiping noses, watching Sesame Street... basically far, far away from popular culture.
