I was watching TCM the other night and happened across it. I really enjoyed this one. Good stuff.

No, it is not a remake of that film though they both are focusing on the same story. 300 is a movie adaption of the Frank Miller graphic novel '300.'

No it isn't. It is based on the same historical event. But 300 is based on a comic book version of the story.

I agree that remakes usually suck but there are a few that I enjoyed including Ocean's 11.

300 stands alone. This movie kicks so much ass. I wish I looked like a Spartan. Every single one of those dudes was ripped.
