Unless one of the other RBs turn into something quickly, Grady is in a lot of trouble. With a good RB, Grady may have been decent enough to move the ball thru the air as well. Lose the running game and an average QB in Grady becomes quite a bit less than average.

I agree, if the Utes somehow turn this all around...KWhitt deserves a medal of honor. Sadly, I don't know how he will be able to get to those 7-8 wins. I am hoping though, I am hoping.
What has Asiata done to prove he's a real star?

The last time this happened to the Utes was in 2005. They lost the game, but won their next two (BYU and Georgia Tech).

The previous time was in 2003. They won the game, albeit against Utah State, and their next five.

However, those two teams were deeper than this one appears to be. Madsen in 2005 was essentially one in a four-WR rotation, and Ratliff's accuracy and ability to scramble was, well, a surprise.

The 2003 team speaks for itself.

You mean, BYU recruiting him wasn't enough proof?

He's gained yards...something the other backs have failed to do.
