Wordplay won't change the world, but it is fun.

Thank you for that. We have a group of engineers here that play Magic: The Gathering cards seemingly nonstop. I try my best to shame them, but you've given me additional ammo.

It is basically all the nerds who played Dungeons and Dragons in junior high, except now they have jobs and can drive themselves around, so they drive to the countryside, dress up like knights, and play Darkon.

Please see this film. And feel GREAT about your life.

So says the man who spends an inordinate amount of time on an internet message board

I believe it is called Grizzly Man, about that guy that goes into the katmai national park to live with bears and ends up being eaten by the bears, along with his girlfriend.

The guy is obviously a jackmonkey to think he will be able to claim wild brown bears as pets, but the scenery is awesome and in the end you kind of feel a form of connection to his wild ass antics.

God Grew Tired of Us.

Thousands of parentless boys in Sudan during the '90 walked/wandered many hundreds of miles, eventually settling in a UN refugee camp in Kenya. They formed their own "families" with boys as young as 8 or 10 taking care of the younger boys. Eventually, some made it to the US where they experienced modern conveniences (like electricity and indoor plumbing) for the first time. The film follows three of the young men as they arrive in the US and it's deeply touching. Watch it, and BYU's new recruit, Atem Bol, will become your favorite player, irrespective of his skills.

Enron: The Smartest Guys in the Room was interesting. Conspiracy of Fools was a better recounting of Enron, but it is a book and thus not subject to this thread.

A maybe not so interesting Enron aside, they cast off their exploration company some time before their collapse. Too old school in that, I assume, they actually made money. They're still around and get very agitated if you call them by their original name - Enron Oil & Gas - insisting they are now and have always been EOG Resources. Scintillating I know.
