I liked the lead actor in that show, and liked him again in the Egyptian space saga.

Did anyone else like the show "Dr Katz - Professional Therapist?"

It was on Comedy Central and introduced the world to squigglevision. That show was great fun. I recently ordered the box set of DVDs and it should be arriving any day. I am pretty excited.

The premise of the show was a NYC Therapist would have sessions with his patients (who were always played well known comedians) and they would discuss their neurotic behavior, fears, phobias, etc..it was very funny stuff. Dr Katz lived with his grown-up but lazy son, Ben, who lived a Kramer-esque lifestyle and never really amounted to much.

If anyone is looking for a cool animated series to get into, this is one.

I bet you had to google The Straight Dope to learn about it.

I forgot to mention the cartoon The Tick. That was good stuff back in the mid 90s.

Wife and I loved this show. The best was the hypochondriac (I think it was the son). "I think I have SIDS."
