A movie can be freaky disturbing just to be freaky disturbing but these are movies that are good movies that have freaky disturbing scenes that are vital to the movie:

Deliverance--no explanation needed
Pulp Fiction and most Tarantino--no explanation needed
Fight Club--I just wanted to see what it was like to destroy something beautiful
Fargo--woodchipper

My personal list includes the following, some of which I wished I would have never seen.

The Exorcist
Natural Born Killers
Seven
Deliverance
Sin City
The Devils Rejects

and various other bad movies.

I'm crazy, but I actually liked Sin City even though it was so over the top in every way. Natural Born Killers, the Exorcist are two movies that I have seen a few minutes of and I have no interest in seeing any more than that.

See, Se7en was disturbing, but it was tolerable. I don't know that it's a 'watch over again' type movie, but it was intense the first go around.

I like a movie that kinda makes me a little disturbed every once in a while... although the Mrs. doesn't, so I have to be selective and somewhat dumb when selecting those movies.

I thought Sin City was great.

I don't know what was so disturbing about the show, nothing compared to some of the other movies listed here.

Well for starters how about a pedophile that is yellow and creepy as hell that gets his balls ripped off his body by Bruce Willis' hand.

That is disturbing as hell. Justice yes, but still disturbing.

Is that the one where the lady is at the truck stop, and disappears, and the guy spends the rest of his life wondering what happened to his wife. Finally he gets somebody to agree to let him know what happened to her?

I watched that movie as part of a requirement for a class at BYU and it was freaky as hell. Very disturbing.
