Worst movies ever

Usually I don't watch sucky movies. I don't know how I ended up watching Envy. That was horrific. Or maybe I should not judge so harshly, at least not until SU weighs in.

I am not sure I understand the bitterness towards the Titanic. OK, I agree that some of the characters, plot elements, etc. are cheesy. But, as someone who has read books on the Titanic disaster, and given the fact that it was such a huge event in our nation's history, I appreciated the fact that they were so careful in terms of historical detail. And the movie was long but I found the detailed presentation of the chronology of the disaster, and the representation of the different treatment of first class passengers vs. "steerage" to be fascinating.

In other words, I fully understand why many people would not like the movie, but to put it in a list of "worst movies ever" is just crazy.

I love Titanic and it might make my top 20 list. It has its cheesy moments but Kate Winslett was great in it, so was Leo really. I also loved the ending which I interpreted as her dying and IMHO not a bad depiction of entering heaven.

And I'd go with Killer Klowns from Outer Space for really bad movies that are actually great fun to watch.

Sidekicks. There is no worse film that has ever been made. Any other bad film ever made surely was inspired by Sidekicks, even if it was made before Sidekicks came out. Its suckiness is so large it is like a black hole, mysteriously affecting all things around it without regard to time or space.

Are you kidding SidekIcks was awesome, Jonathan Brandis and CHuck Norris, there has not been a better TV duo since Jack Lemon and Walter Mathau.

But for the ultimate bad movie that's actually fun to watch, I highly recommend The Phantom Empire. Plus, at the end the cavewomen all (conveniently) end up topless.

You gotta love the obligatory topless scenes!
