John 16:16

‘A little while, and you will no longer see me, and again a little while, and you will see me.’

16 A little while, and ye shall not see me: and again, a little while, and ye shall asee me, because I go to the Father.

Greek:

μικρὸν καὶ οὐκ τι θεωρε τ με καὶ π λιν μικρὸν καὶ ὄψεσθ με

Why do you think the KJV added, "because I go to the Father".
