I watched the game again. On many pass plays, there were one or two open receivers in the 5-15 yard range. Hall instead decided to throw into double or triple coverage to go to deeper. Had he taken the open routes, BYU would have scored alot more. I am sure Anae will address that in film study. Hall was probably just bored with the easy stuff.

BYU was up 24-0 at the end of the first quarter with only 3 1/2 minutes time of possession. Impressive!
