my wife wants to start doing some photography.
can i get something for around 1000 clams? i'd like to get a 10M good for a beginner, but nice enough to be useful for several years.
i have an old nikon with a zoom lens. is it a standard interface?
is a camera a camera, or are there real difference?

My wife just bought a Nikon D80. She had a lense already so she just bought the body. I think she got it for around $900.
