Probably a late review, but I thought this movie was funny. It did a good job of covering up the lack of a plot or any character development...understanding of course that it is a comedy.

Alec Baldwin was also fantastic and continued his excellence in smaller roles. He's good that way. He can be over the top, but that works for some of the characters he plays.

Over all, i'd give it 2 and a half stars...it made me laugh, but I wouldn't go out of my way to see it again.

Not to hijack this, but did you see Baldwin as the "motivator" in Glengarry Glen Ross?

did you see the recent SNL spoof of this? He comes in as the "elf motivator" in santa's workshop.

My guess is most people watching had no idea to what the sketch referred to.

GGR--classic play. Love Alec's rendition.

Maybe I was in a bad mood that day, but I saw it the day before Christmas and I couldn't help but thinking just awful the movie was and that Jim Carrey has done much better.

Tea Leoni was downright annoying as they come in that movie.
