Default Wow, the Czech's opened up a can on us

I fully expected a loss in this game. The Czech's are currently one of the best teams in the world. But I thought we'd look a lot sharper than we did. It was pretty disappointing and doesn't leave me with much hope for the next match.

next match....and the rest of the tourny. Start cheering for your secondary (mission) teams.

ouch.

PS. where does the US find a 6'9" ogre that plays soccer like the Czech's had? Holy cow that guy was HUGE!

Huge and so skilled. He is amazing. Unfortunately for the Czech's he may be gone for the tournament. His injury was described as "pretty serious" by the coach following the game. Huge loss for them.

Did anyone see the game or know what kind of injury it was?

All I can find online is that it was "serious"?

Germany. Lousy defense but on home grounds.

I actually prefer Brazil's style of play. Nederlands is great.

Czech looks good but without Koller?

Just once I'd like to see a Ukraine or Paraguay pull a surprise. Too many Euros for my tastes.

My secondary team is Italy, so I believe I'll have some hope of a team getting out of this group.

It's going to take a miracle for the US to get a win on Saturday.

Since people seem to be picking their former mission as their secondary team to cheer for, then GO CANADA!!!

lol.. canada isn't playing

Koller will only miss one game... USA looked awful as did my 2nd team Sweden..

I can hope for a draw against Italy and a win against Ghana.. that may be asking too much.. as long as Sweden beats the brits!
