JohnnyLingo has a little shameless behaviour in the past
Default Pirates 3

Just got back from seeing it with my wife and some friends.

6.5 out of 10.

Glad Barbosa is back.

Too much plot. Pirates 1 was much cleaner. Best of the three in my opinion.

I liked the first one quite a bit...did not like the second one at all. I have little doubt that the third one will be even as good as the bad second one. I will say that I liked Depp in the first two quite a bit though.

I suspect it will be pretty bad, but I have to go se it just to find out if Keith Richard can actually speak words that are comprehensible. That and my kids will make me.

I'll go with my kids. This is one I wonder about if you go without kids.

Is Johnny Depp the biggest sell-out on the planet? I used to respect him when he took all those small, quirky, offbeat roles. Now he's pretty much dropped all the pretense and has become Walt Disney's little money-making bitch.

One of my biggest fears currently is that I will somehow end up in a theatre watching Pirates 3. The 2nd one is horrible and was an exercise in pure torture to watch. I can only imagine how bad this third one will be. The first one also sucked, but it sucked less than the 2nd one. At least the first was terrible in a funny way.

The *only* thing that made #2 remotely bearable was that cute guy from LOTR. If he's in the third one I might sit through it.

Flash is counting down the days until Transformers. I think it comes out on our anniversary.
