Didn't know that he had smuggled 89 narcotic pills into prison by storing them in his rectum. I think that kind of desperation says something about what addiction can do to a person. One hopes he can turn his life around. |

I think once he enters the ritual of his addiction, he is really not under too much control of his actions. Desperation may trigger the ritual, but once it starts, it's something heaver than desperation alone.
