I honestly don't get this. The CSTV/mtn. deal has just been crappy, but I'm in the camp that says the plan can still succeed (AKA - the camp who has access to the mtn, thus willing to ride it out).

But why not put a CUSA game or, perish the thought, a MWC game on in that slot?

Again, what am I missing?

Right now, Comcast calls the shots and they are happy with what they have in the MTN. I'm convinced the MTN is not in financial trouble, and that Comcast is happy with it. They are converting dish subscribers at a rate that more than makes up with the financial losses. Everything that is done right now is for the purpose of

a. converting more dish subscribers to Comcast
b. negotiating tactics in the rare case that dish might make a mistake and overpay for the MTN
