Not that anybody should care
my son won a multi-region, California included, karate tourney today.
He had to spar kids more highly ranked in terms of years and skill, but whupped them all. So I was a proud papa. I wish I could say he's a chip off the old block, but he has more skill than I'll ever have.

I liked the movie the first time
but after watching my son take five years and still not make black belt, that movie is more than ludicrous.
I know a guy who worked seven days a week, for eighteen months, and he made black belt, having studied other styles. However, a summer? Absolutely ridiculous. No broken bones, but two serious groin shots unfortunately.

Nice work, Arch.
I know one of my prouder moments recently was when my 5 year old scored his first goal in soccer. This was, of course, moments before he and his buddy ran behind the goal and began to disassemble the goal and net while the other other team was about to score on them. How does the saying go - If you can't beat em, destroy the goal... |
