What is "Israel"?

Does that mean killing people, or does that mean dissolving the govt. for something more just?

Mindful has already discussed this.

I'm sure Ahmadinejad is only interested in the peaceful transition of power in Israel via normal democratic methods. Why wouldn't he be.

I'm sure the US and Israel want to diplomatically solve their differences, and go to war as a last result.

yeah, I'm sure he's just a nice man who wouldn't start a war with Israel. Bush is a nice man too but he has no problems starting wars.

This is from almost 3 years ago, but it backs up what Blue K was saying.

IPU I read that article, and I saw no mention of any attack.

From the article:

Quote:
The president then said: "And God willing, with the force of God behind it, we shall soon experience a world without the United States and Zionism," according to a quote published by IRNA.
Quote:
Ahmadinejad is quoted as saying, "Anybody who recognizes Israel will burn in the fire of the Islamic nation's fury."
It wasn't expressed specifically that there would be an attack, but I believe it can be reasonably assumed that Ahmadinejad would do it. Why else would be testing nuclear weapons?

I would assume that a lot of Israelis would die. I think the answer to your second question is no, not probably not.

I'm just saying we won't know until later whether it was the right cost benefit analysis. As long as Iran never uses a nuke then we were right. If an Iranian nuke ever goes off in a city that 100K will seem much more acceptable. I don't know the answer, but I do know what the Iranian government says it wants to do. Whether it will do it, who knows.
