So you vote in favor of continued castigations for the duration of the Obama presidency so that the tabloids and shows can have their vetting? Noted.

Are there other ways to prevent the recurrence other than expensive show trials and public vengeance?
Was Nuremberg an expensive show trial and public vengeance?

The President works for US. Not himself. He is accountable to us and the Constitution. And to the degree he willfully avoids accountability and ignores the Constitution he must be investigated.

He is one man, and he has no more power.

It is simply a vengeful act, which I note you are in favor of bloodsport. Duly noted.

I said before, if you paid attention, which you did not, that it could be modeled after South Africa's experience.

You tell the truth, you receive no punishment.

I see little value in it, but my opinion does not matter. Politics, unlike some aspects of business or academia, never knows when to stop beating a deat horse. Why stop beating a winning argument I like to say.

well, because, there are millions of people like Tex who would like to continue to see America as a place that tortures, imprisons its citizens without hearing or access, etc.

The irony is that you don't, yet you want the Supreme Court to take a historically unprecedented and constitutionally unsupported step in restricting a president's power ... all because the thought of him using it in some way pisses you off.
What the hell is a "strong" president in war time or any other time? I want my president to follow the Constitution. We can argue about whether he is or not.

Millions? I thought Tex was one of a kind. Please in the future, put a caveat of potential horror content in your posts.

Would you classify 40% of Americans as "millions"? I would.

40% of Americans here in this poll in 2007 believed the USA should use waterboarding.

So forty percent is less than a majority, looks like they're outvoted.
