Default Nick Emery's shot

In my opinion, his mechanics are overly complicated and this is always going to lead to poorer shooting % for him. I feel like he's slightly turned, he's jumping and elevating, and then the ball has long travel in his hands as goes through his release. He has good follow through and extension. But all that lower body business makes it tough.

Sometimes I wonder if Emery ever feels like he will be held accountable for a mistake or bad play. I try to imagine someone like Emery playing for the best coaches of all time, and I can't imagine that his decision-making process would be allowed to be like this. It's like Rose is an NBA coach and it's the players in charge.
