Jobs, Gates, Oprah, some of the Hollywood stars come to mind. OK, maybe within an order of magnitude.

A man recently gave some money to my alma mater for an endowed professorship (I think that runs around $1-2M as the State matches money to create the endowment account). His brothers (they are an "oil money" family) had each previosly made a smaller donation to the geology/geophysics and/or petroleum engineering departments, he directed his to another department to spite them.

How does one betray stupidity? For example if Rocky stopped being the flag bearer for stupidity, contrary to stupidity's hopes and expectations? I guess I can see how stupidity might feel betrayed under those circumstances.
