Win against Princeton
I didn't watch the game. I listened to a few minutes of the radio feed.
Bryant was the leading scorer, with 25 pounds. It was a low-scoring game. I assume that Princeton isn't an up and down team. On the other hand, Princeton scored 75 in a loss to Butler. I guess guys are saying the defense is much better. Worthington only got 12 minutes, despite starting. Dastrup only 3 minutes. This is not a deep team right now. 7 guys getting almost all the minutes. It's encouraging to hear that the team is more disciplined this year. I swear there were times last year that they looked uncoached. I still can't say I'm excited about this team. I doubt that they can get to the dance. |

I am not excited about the team, but they are playing better team ball. It is not deep but the players are buying into the team concept. We have weakness at the 5 position, and rebounding will be a recurring problem. When the team isn't shooting well, it will be a long night, especially if Childs experiences foul problems. But the team is fun to watch. I encourage you to try them out. I enjoy this vintage much more than last year's without Mika or Emery.
