Angry Poll: Who will win the NBA Championship this year?

Yawn... Detroit versus San Antonio, again. Detroit wins.

Personally, I'd love to see a fun high-tempo series like Phoenix vs. Miami, but it'll never happen.

Um, you saw San Antonio score 122 points yesterday, right? And Detroit over 90 today?

yes, but when the two play against each other the defense powers down the offense. boring, IMHO.

I think San Antonio will end up winning it all.

At this point, I'm not at all convinced that Detroit will make it to the final.

the Spurs will reign supreme once again, for the second straight year and the 4th time since 1999 the spurs will be NBA champions.

They have all the keys in place of an absolute dynasty.

I think the Pistons have consistently been the best and deepest team all season long.

They're my pick to win it against the Spurs in 7 games.

The amazing thing about the Pistons is that for the past THREE YEARS they haven't had a single injury to any of their starters. Not so much as an ankle sprain.

Does you think it seems like they're due?

Nah, me neither.

I agree with fish on this one.

Detroit v San Antonio in the finals with Detroit taking it in 6 or 7.

tkh9, Who is going to beat Detroit in the East? I just don't see it happening this year.

And the 122 points against the Kings the other day was an obvious outlier, when considering their style of play and theit history. The Kings stunk it up and the Spurs wanted to stick it to Ron Artest for his "prediction".

Go Lakers.

San Antonio over the Pistons in 6.

I realize it's a completely irrational prediction. I just think that for some reason, Miami or someone else is going to upset them. Perhaps it will be the injury they haven't had happen. Perhaps it's that I think they peaked too early this year. I'm not sure, but I'm just going with my gut on this one, but fully recognizing I have no basis for it.
