Sounds like a facsinating story but the article is very poorly written. Did he steal money earmarked for the cost of lighting a statue? Did he charge $7,000 and should have done it for free? Also, what he is saying about HItler, Napoleon, Martha Stewart, etc. makes no sense out of context. I don't get what's going on. It's probably an interesting story in the right hands, however.

It's The Eagle. That newspaper probably pays minimum wage to its two reporters.

Daily Unifarce is the NY Times in comparison.

The part that is not clear to me: where did all his money come from. The arts center is named after him. He appears to be independently wealthy. But not clear from where.
