Well, Soup, Farrah and I are not pleased with the company you keep. Even RedHead was showing up and you abandon us?

My wife and I will be there, but we don't plan on sitting together.

Apparently I'll be watching the game by myself. Or maybe Grapevine will join me.

I'm hearing grumbling about the ticket prices. There are a lot of casual lower-middle class BYU fans out there, for whom taking the family to see the game is going to be daunting.

One direct quote "If it was $20, I would go."

There are going to be a lot of BYU fans watching the game from home in DFW, I can assure you.

Yes BYU fans fail to fully invest. They are cheap.

Honestly, I was surprised they even offered any tickets as low as 50. Sooners won't even show up for less than 75. (Though some would ask what their excuse was in Miami.)

Can I sit with SoonerUte? Will she be in BYU digs or Utah? Or is she supporting her alma?

the report I heard was that BYU was only offered 7,000 tickets but received 12,000 requests. So it won't only be because we're cheap that the place will be full of red. BYU has asked for more so that 5,000 don't have to be turned away. I just got my tickets from a buddy who is a Cowboys season ticket holder. Cowboys season ticket holders apparently get first right to tickets for any event at the stadium.

I've heard that going to a sporting function with okie fans is one of the most disconcerting experiences you can have in life.

As in, is there really a God who would create such people and still be 'good'?
