Default Senate healthcare will pass in House

Funny, all Stupak needed was a reassurance from Obama.

What a douche.

Everyone has their price. Stupak is gone in November and he knows it...I'm sure Obama has hooked him up with some million dollar a year lobbyist job in exchange for his suicide vote.

I wish the wise men of CG were still here. You know, the old grey-hairs who solemnly told us that Obama was the right choice for president. That he was smart and wise, and represented a new way. That he was the path of integrity over that buffoon John McCain.

PaloAltoCougar. I learned something from him. Never listen to an old fat rich man. He doesn't have your interests in mind, and he just might stab you in the back if he gets a chance.

Come on, Mike. Be a little smarter if you can.

How is this healthcare bill paid for? By the "old fat rich men." It's paid for through cuts in Medicare (old and fat) and through increased taxes on the wealthy (rich).

So whose interests did PAC have in mind? Certainly not his. It's the working poor who will now be insured: he had their interests in mind when voting for Obama.

You obviously know nothingi about the bill nor abotu PAC.

He is a pasty old fat guy who knew that he would never have to pay one of major taxes in this bill:

Quote:
A 10 percent tax on indoor tanning services that use ultraviolet lamps goes into effect on July 1.
Who came up with this one? Taxing tanning?

There are many rich people who really do believe in tax and spend. They have more money than they know what to do with. They often gained that money through means that would make Satan choke on his dinner. That a lawyer might assuage his conscience for his life's work by endorsing a medicare payroll tax? Wow, such magnamity. I am floored.

We were told by these wise men that Obama was the best choice, because he was the real grown up in the field. The one who had passed the test. Who had been in the crucible.

As if "voting present" as a Senator is some mark of courage.

People that actually give a damn about the Constitution are going to move and agitate in ways against this Obama regime like you have never seen before.

This is a dark day, as health insurance will be killed in three to ten years. I despise Obama from head to toe and wish him ill will.

Damn all you Dems for cursing our country with this malignancy and the heavy tax burdens you heap upon us in a time of economic woes. Damn you all.

Mike, your prognostication is a wise one, the private insurers will fail due to Obama's socialism, and anti-capitalist bent. The coverage will worsen care overall, slowly at first, but steadily.

This is not a country worth believing in, any longer.

Make no mistake, Obama favors single payer. He knew it could not be accomplished in one step. It will take several steps.

My favorite quote that I have read recently: If you think healthcare is expensive now, just wait til its free.

I truly despise him for this and all who supported him. The symbol of single payer health care is worthy of my loathing and disgust.

It will become gradually more expensive, less responsive for those who have insurance, and for those that don't, they won't see much of an improvement, because nothing in the monstrosity passed by the House and Senate addresses the core health care issues. Nothing.

but Mike, nobody will remember our comments when Obama and his ilk have dealt a final death blow to the financing of health care here. This decision makes me inconsolable right now. It is horrific. Damn him, damn him to eternal hell.
