Default Health care politics

Our socialist friends such as Cali are interesting.

It's almost as if the socialists sit around agree on events as if the are "facts", irrefutably proven, when they are not, and then become upset when anybody disputes them.

First, people like Cali observe a lot of money is spent on health care issues, including insurance, physician visits, hospital care, hospice, end of life care, nursing home care, nursing, pharmaceuticals, emergency care, primary care, elective medicines.

Second, the Cali's make a value judgment that whatever we're spending is too much. They analogize it to foreign systems, believing we could replicate it here. No proof or evidence, just wishful thinking, but oh well, such is the life of government socialists.

Third, when in doubt, they manufacture evidence through redefinition. The reference to bankruptcies "caused" by medicine simply gets larger from too many invoices to medical illness reducing ability to earn an income and other factors.

Fourth, they make a gargantuan leap of faith in claiming that government can reduce and control costs? But in addition to the magic potion which they are drinking and expect others to drink, not only will it reduce costs it will magically cover more people for less money.

If such a believer is an atheist, I'd ask him or her to seek psychological counseling for the ability to believe fairy tales are real life. Otherwise, such a person is a delusional religious whacko.

But the reason such refuse works is it appeals to largest number of voters for the basest reasons, it appears to provide something for nothing paid for by somebody else. That is the principal approach to any social program, tell the "masses" we can give you something for nothing or something from somebody else.

We will cover 40 million, no 32 million, no 20 million, well millions, strangle those horrible insurance companies and it won't cost you anything at all. There will be no increased waiting, no rationing, and it's only because those currently involved are evil. [This is a clever spiel. You manufacture phoney numbers, create a huge bureaucracy and then mysteriously clean up the numbers to reveal the true "problem" and claim to have cleaned up the problem. Brilliant, brilliant!]

No, you won't have to exercise Mr. Public. No you won't have to diet or take control of your eating habits, you smoking habits, your drinking habits, your driving habits. You can have it ALL for nothing.

How does anybody drink this Kookaid?
