Default Utah dumps Bennett

Dummies.

Utah as a small state lost seniority on the Senate energy committee.

Eagle Forum is killing Utah politics.

Bridgewater doesn't seem like a bad guy but Utah GOP flunked the idiot test.

Good riddance. He was happy being a beltway insider, and he didn't pay attention to what was going on, then tried to sell himself as a beltway insider. So he's stupid to boot.

I know a couple of delegates. They say Bennett was arrogant, condescending, and dismissive towards hard core conservatives. Right or wrong, people just got sick of him. The TARP thing was the last straw for many. You're right, Bennett realized much too late that he was in real trouble.

A few of these entitled kings and queens need to learn that the seats belong to the people. Period.

In Utah, the seat is likely to remain Republican, but have you ever noticed Democrats are usually satisfied with retention of power and rarely throw out their own? If a Democrat wants to throw out his Democratic representative, he tends to vote Republican.

You guys might find this interesting. We Utahns don't believe in senators for life. Hell, we even booted out Reed Smoot who also happened to be an Apostle.
