Default Business as usual by Obama (Recess Appointments)

Head of Medicare appointed during recess to avoid Constitutional scrutiny. Great Obama.

The opposition to Obama is hardening, and his support is softening, even if America is split right down the middle in terms of favorable versus not.

I think a lot of people are shocked at how amateurish he and this administration are.

Oh please. Recess appointments are not amateurish; holding up the working of government by delaying votes on political appointees is amateurish.

Recess appointments are standard affairs; ask your buddy GWB.

Obama wanted to avoid the negative publicity associated with this far left-wing academic that would undoubtedly have emerged during the hearings.

Obama knows that this guy is far out of the American mainstream. But then again, at his core, so is Obama.

It's almost getting to the point where Obama is becoming a caricature of himself. His strained "anger" and such. It is an embarrassment.

This guy is also so anti-physician it's absurd.

He wanted to avoid further negative backlash from his health care program. One of the deals Obama struck with the AMA was that the Medicare reductions would be delayed if the AMA backed the plan. They stupidly backed the plan and now have no deal. Plus they have a Quality Care reviewer type, with no real medical practice, at the head of his Medicare program.

And now he gets him appointed for a year without opposition during the election year. It was scheduled to avoid scrutiny.
