BYU player stat analysis
A look at the NBA productivity stat, compared to avg at the position.
Above avg JT (leading team in scoring, rebounding, steals, and fewest TO's per 40) Lee (great on 3's, great rebounder, great on assists, blocks, steals) Keena (scoring, FT's and FT PCT, rebounding esp offense, weak on blocks and steals) Burgess (this guy's an enigma, he's pretty solid on all stats but I just think he doesn't belong on the court everytime I see him. some of his best games were away games on the MTN) Avg Ainge (doesn't shoot enough, great on 3's, doesn't get to line, great on assists, poor on TO's, no steals) Trent (poor free throw pct, avg on everything else) Below Avg Jimmy (blah on all stats, good on steals) Rose (good in 3's, doesn't get to line, no steals) Nando (bad shooting, good blocks, avg rebounding) Murdock (lack of scoring, doesn't turn ball over too much but also doesn't get many assists) I'm most surprised by Tavernari. He's not quite ready for the big time, but he's getting there quickly. |

did you see Burgess try to dribble with his left hand in the game against AFA? he looked horrid, like he had never done it before in his life, the ball was bouncing 5 feet high.
