It will become more rare for the Cougs to win the football conference as long as Patterson and Whit roam the sidelines. For the record, I preferred Whit to Mendenhall, and still do.

Until the Cougs fall into mediocrity, we are saddled with Bronco as our coach. So we can either leave and just sit back with a third or fourth place finish with an occasional win in down years for TCU and Utah.

Dreaming big dreams just won't come true any more.

Bronco is fit. Whit has camel toe under his belly and Patterson is a tub.

Bronco knew he got spanked last year, so after the OU game this year, he talked about he made changes in approaching the big games, and that it paid off. Well whatever that was, it didn't find its way to the field against FSU and TCU. So he's back to scratching his head, trying to figure out what to do.

He hasn't upgraded his talent.

He hasn't changed his "no emotion" approach.

And he doesn't have the personnel to match up with more athletic teams. That problem has never been fixed and the BYU execution on defense is not precise enough.
