I must admit, I mostly glaze over the Utah commits. There are a few Polynesians who look promising but most of the Utah guys look like standard, Utah, great high school player with nothing spectacular in terms of physical upside.

For example, Ricky Heimuli looks like the most promising of the Utah fare.

If his speed is a legit 4.44, then he could be a good back or an awesome lb. Or perhaps a tight end?

My bad, he was a "prospect" and committed to Stanford. It was too good to be true.

It's hard for me to care about recruits, half of whom will never see the field, the other half won't be out there for 4 years. None of which will play in the NFL.

Those are my usual feelings but where we just had a dismal season, I'm looking for any ray of sunshine, hoping some of our many deficiencies can be corrected. Unfortunately, what I'm finding in the lists of recruits is not providing me with hope for more speed.
