Default FSU loss causing pollsters to jump BYU

but in my view this is probably correct.

The FSU game showed how deficient BYU is against a speed team, which can duplicate its actions repeatedly.

This team is nothing more than a 18to20th best team unless by two major miracles BYU defeats TCU and Utah. I wouldn't lay good money for those two items to happen.

If I were forced to bet, I'd take TCU and have no idea how to call the Utah game. BYU is just treading water and Utah seems to be improving. UNLV is a barometer of how bad UNLV is, not of BYU's quality.

This BYU team has no credibility.

I thought FSU could end up being a dog, and it's looking like I am right.

Bowden is having to talk about his future--I guess it is safe to say that the BYU win did not buy him much good will.

I put the FSU loss on the seniors who did not truly have the mental cojones to compete and win.

I agree the FSU exposed the lack of fight in BYU this year. FSU was challenged and knocked the crap out of BYU, with it not even being competitive.

TCU looks more legitimate, and Utah seems to improve as the year moves on. The best time to play Utah is at the beginning of the season.

I think Vegas will favor TCU.

If you are talking about mental toughness and will to win, I would take Andy Dalton hands down over Max Hall.

If I have to put money on the game, I put it on TCU.

Not that BYU couldn't win. I just don't expect them to.

This BYU team is not mentally tough, and BYU has lost plenty of games to TCU over the years, as well as to Utah.

On the other hand, if BYU finishes the rest of the season undefeated....they will get back a little respect for beating TCU. Although since TCU only barely defeated a (decent) Air Force, their credibility is not very high either.

I don't think there is anyway BYU can get to a BCS bowl this year. Getting blown out by FSU is a fatal blow.

I don't believe BYU deserves a BCS game. We'd be destroyed by most BCS bowl teams, unless it was a slower Big 10 team.

Yes we squandered the most important win and good will, with the most horrific and horrible loss in terms of timing in MWC history. Amazing how one school can bonehead and raise the bar all in the same month.
