ESPN was only half correct.

BYU had 494 wins at the completion of the 2008 season, but Utah had 607, making last night their 612th. If you watched Utah's Thursday night game against Oregon State last year, the announcers commented that Utah was the first bowl-eligible team in the nation at 6-0, and had just become the 36th team to reach 600.
