Default Tour of the U.S. ?

I'm not sure how the pros would feel about stage after stage being over 200 miles. Also how do you run a coast to coast stage race and not go through the Denver area?

I've been wondering why nothing like this has been done yet. Excellent stages in there and it comes within 3 hours of my town so I'd probably try and catch either the SF stage or the Tahoe stage. This could be very cool.

I'm going to Intercross and got Interbike passes, so I'll go out there.

That looks like a brutal schedule. It almost twice as long as the other grand tours. I'm sure the $11 Million purse will attract everyone from Europe, but the distance would likely make some of the boys a bit queasy.

It would be a blast though. The last time trial and the finish would be an easy drive from my house.

Looks fun.

I hope it takes off, as I'd get to see several stages.

Boulder City from Williams, BC to Vegas, Vegas rest day, Vegas to Tonopah, Bridgeport to Tahoe. It would be great.
