This Notre Dame / ACC merger bodes poorly for BYU
It means that even Notre Dame sees the writing on the wall and that independence is not the future.
If it can't work for Notre Dame, how is it supposed to work for BYU? BYU needs to cajole its way into the Big 12. Yesterday. Or be consigned to castaway status permanently. |

I wonder if BYU is going to be dropped from some of the already scheduled Notre Dame games.
And BYU's bowl tie-in will be chitty forever as an independent. And will likely be shut out of BCS/playoff for all practical purposes. There's not going to be "the BYU exception." |
