Any of you guys ever try one of those backpacking 1 man bivy tents? It seems like it'd feel like a coffin but it's gotta be the lightest option that would still keep the bugs off you.

Yeah I have one. It's not recommended for the claustrophobic, but weighs only 3 lbs or something. Its highest point (the head, by the door) stands 4 feet high, and the other end stands 2 feet high.

btw, I have nice camping equipment (and some cheap stuff). I just happened to have patiently collected my nice stuff instead of paying full retail. Most of my purchases lately, are to make my camping experience more comfortable and easy.
