I hope, for Jimmer's, sake that he gets to a real club. Jimmer in a Mavs uniform gives me the warm fuzzies.

Interesting, though what the Mavericks need most now are players who can play defense. They score just fine. I wouldn't mind seeing Jimmer here(Dallas) just to see it, though. The problem is that Mark Cuban is not going to pay that kind of money for a what boils down to a largely unproven role player.

There's no reason to believe that Jimmer's next contract will be huge. He's a bench player on one of the worst teams in the NBA.

How long are the initial NBA contracts?
What are the odds Jimmer stays in the league instead of starring in Europe somewhere?

Jimmer's option year was picked up by the Kings, which was 13-14.

At the very least, he has a three year cup of coffee in the NBA. He's not making superstar money but his income is still acceptable, maybe even for a professional. Assuming he is frugal, he should be stable no matter what.

I don't give a shiz about Fredette's finances.
Btw, Sacramento and Dallas have almost identical records. If Jimmer were to come to Dallas, it's not clear that he would be coming to a better team. |
