When I watch these "Weddings & Celebrations" vignettes
on the NYT site, I feel like I'm watching a SNL skit. The couples report in NPRish-engagement-ring-commercial earnest about their relationships. I don't know why, but I watch them almost every Sunday.
Should I lose my Man Card over this habit? Note: I think they're funny not romantic. http://www.nytimes.com/pages/fashion...ngs/index.html (scroll down to the videos) Last edited by 8ballrollin; 07-23-2007 at 01:44 AM. Reason: link |

Sorry, the Man Card reference is maybe a little too obscure (stupid). It’s just something a few guys I know say when you do something very non-masculine. "You might have to turn in your Man Card over that one." It's really said TIC - in the voice of a redneck or truck driver.
So I used it against myself because I was watching wedding vignettes on the NYT site. Better yet, never mind. |
