Kelvin Sampson
I have a feeling that Sampson could end up at UNM (if Alford goes to IU) or he could end up at SDSU...both of which would be a good fit for him.
I also wonder if Kruger will get any mention for the IU job. |

I've heard that Alford has no chance at the IU job, because he and the AD (or president?) hate each others guts.

The MWC, a haven for disgraced coaches. The MWC is like one of those countryclub prisons.

Sampson isn't going anywhere soon
an AD and Pres. would be asking for all sorts of problems and issues if they hire him in the next couple years. He would be to hot to even bring in unless you are very very desperate.
It would be unusual for a coach to leave after one year. I doubt Alford is going anywhere this soon. Let's hope the Kruger stays at UNLV. |

A perfect description. That or the Australia of the NCAA. We have the beach, but it's mostly outback.

Kelvin cracks me up. Now he's texting his former players? Hilarious.
You've gotta understand how ridiculously vocal this guy is about character and integrity. He once stopped an Oklahoma State rivalry game, went to center court, took the ref's mike, and told us fans we had to stop yelling Oh-eSSSS-UUU SUCKS! Because it was classless and rude and Sooner fans don't act like that. (try not to laugh.) Anyway, here he screws up at Oklahoma, shows up at Indiana to take a job nobody else wanted, where the fans really weren't too keen on his hiring to begin with, and screws up there too. I don't know how you could be moronic enough to make the same mistakes again, but he did and now he's officially the Rick Neuheisal of basketball. He'll be lucky if he ever works again. |
