It depends what you mean. Do they follow it as intensely as we nerds? Probably not.

However, do they enjoy game day, food, companionship, a good hit, a winning play and time with a significant other in a social setting? Many do.

And you'd be surprised how many enjoy the symmetry, athleticism, tradition of game day at the university.

My womenfolk are not big fans but they don't mind one trip to the university to experience the atmosphere. And they also give me perspective to enjoy the game by calming me down.

Not even close.

It's the very small minority.

And yes I agree that I'm a total dork about football.

And if they give you perspective to calm you down, then maybe you ought to hit them up before you post about football on Cougarboard again.

The key in this life or the next is to find just one who likes you and who does enjoy spectating at football games. As far as I'm concerned, I only need one female companion at a time.

Not trying to be "unreasonable" in my original question. I enjoy watching the sports (and with more passion) that I have personally played, more than I enjoy watching sports that I have not played.

Thus...translating that to women...I was curious to see why the female fans enjoyed football. Looks like those points have been brought out quite nicely.

The entire year last year I took my daughter to the games, and she likes it for other reasons than the hits, strategy etc. More for the atmosphere, being with her dad, good eats, and the crazy things that go on during the game and at halftime.

Fun stuff...and I tip my hat to all those female Cougar fans!

I had one tell me the only time she ever watched was when one team was wearing white pants because then she could see the outline of their jock around their tight ass. She said the lineman did nothing for her but she sure liked watching the wide receivers. Women are so shallow.
