I can't speak for the early years of the Lavell era, because I was not around to see them. Maybe he did run it up then.

But I can say that it is amazing how often teams that run up the score get their payback a few years later. Today's game assured that Wyoming will have something special for the Utes for a few years to come.

It's cyclical. Wyo did it to Utah last year. Utah did it this year. Wyo will try to do it again.

Yes, but certain things stick in the craw a little longer. This was deliberate provocation, with no other way to spin it. I don't think it was wise, and in a cooler headed time I bet KW would admit the same.

I'm sure KW will after things settle down a bit. But again, Glenn shouldn't have guaranteed a win, no matter to whom he was talking. It just invites a no holds barred ass-kicking.

When UM did it you called it a cheap move. When BM does it you soften your stance and it becomes simply a lame move.

Whitt didn't play nice. That is what has BYU fans upset. We pride ourselves on being nice. We are fair, honest and trustworthy and we wish all mankind to be the same.

I hope Whitt's Bishop isn't going to deny him a Temple recommend over this. This could set back the missionary effort in Wyoming decades.
